India Expedition: Wonders of the Subcontinent

Day 1: Welcome to Delhi - The Capital City

·       Arrive in Delhi International Airports, .

·       Meet and greet and transfer to hotel check-in at hotel over night stay at hotel

Day 2: Full Day Sight Seeing Of Old And New Delhi

·       After break-fast proceed to old and New Delhi, Visting Qutab Minar, Lotus Temple Humayun Tomb, Passes through the Govt. Buildings, President House, Parliment House and India Gate, Jama Masjid, Red Fort and Rajghat etc. (High Lights Of Delhi)

·       Over night stay at hotel

           Note: All museum's are closed on Monday and National Holidays 

                      Akshardham temple, Red Fort and Lotus temple also closed on Monday.

Day 3: Delhi to Amritsar

·       After break-fast surface drive to Amritsar, Arrive in Amritsar Check-in at Hotel, Evening free for Shopping, Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 4: Amritsar SightSeeing

·       After Breakfast proceed to Full day sightseeing tour visiting Jalliabwala Bagh, Golden Temple(Sikh Gurudwara) and Durgina Temple. Afternoon drive to Attari/Wagha Border witness the Both Countries(India & Pakistan) Flag Ceremony & Army parade.

·       Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 5: Amritsar to Manali

·       After Breakfast surface drive to Manali. Passes through Govind Sagar lake, Sundernagar, Mandi, Pandoh Dam , Hanogi Mata Temple and Kullu. Beautiful breathtaking scenery and the awe-inspiring nature of the Himalayas.

·       Check-in at Hotel, Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 6: Manali & Atal Tunnel

·       After Breakfast proceed for Full day Sightseeing tour, visiting Solang Valley, Atal Tunnel, Guru Vashist Temple and Afternoon visit Hadimba Devi Temple Van-vihar, Evening enjoy the Mall Road(Walking)

·        Overnight stay at hotel.

        Note: If you have 3-4 days extra then also same day excrusion tour to Sissu/Keylong.

        Half/Full day excrusion tour to Rohtang Pass(Depends on Getting the Green Permits)

        Half day tour to Nagar(Nagar Castle Meuseum).                                                                         

        Same day excrusion tour to Kasol and Manikaran(Also overnight stay at Kasol).

Day 7: Manali to Shimla

·       After Breakfast surface drive to Shimla a Panoramic Journey Through India's Northern Wonder.

·       Check-in at Hotel, Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 8: Full Day Shimla & Kufri

·       After Breakfast proceed for Full day sightseeing of Shimla, visiting Mashobara(Photo Stop), Kufri(In Addition Pony Horse Ride)/ Adventure game. Back to Shimla, evening enjoy the Mall Road and Ridge Road by Walking.

·        Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 9: Shimla to Rishikesh

·       After breakfast surface drive to Rishikesh passes through Ponta Shahib & Dehradun, Check-in at Hotel.

·        Overnight Stay at Hotel.

Day 10: Rishikesh to Haridwar

·       After breakfast proceed to walking tour to visit some famous temples and ashram also see the Laxman Jhulla and Ram Jhulla, Afternoon drive to Haridwar evening witness the Aarti at Har ki Podi and Holy Dip at River Ganga

·       Over night stay at hotel.

       Note: Option tour to Neelkanth Mahadev.

Day 11: Haridwar to Ayodhya(Long day Journey)

·       After Breakfast surface drive to Ayodhya Dham( this is long day Journey)

·        Check-in at Hotel, Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 12: Ayodhya Dham(Full Day)

·       After breakfast visit Lord Shri Ram Temple(Birth Place) and Hanuman Garhi, Dashrath Mahal, Kanak temple etc, evening witness the Aarti at Saryu river.

·       Over night stay at hotel.

Day 13: Ayodhya to Varanasi

·       After Breakfast surface drive to Varanasi, Check-in at Hotel, Afternoon proceed for Boatride at River Ganga, evening witness the Arti at Dashashwamedh Ghat/Assi Ghat.

Day 14: Varanasi

·       Early Morning visiting Lord Vishwanath Temple, Kal Bhairav Temple, Durga Temple etc, Back to Hotel for Breakfast and Relax, After noon visit Sarnath Temple, overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 15: Varanasi to Agra(Long Day Journey)

·       After Breakfast surface drive to Agra( Long day Journey)

·        Check-in at Hotel, Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 16: Agra

·       Early Morning visit Taj Mahal at Sunrise and Immerse yourself in the ethereal beauty of the Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World.

·       Back to Hotel for Breakfast & Check-out from Hotel, Surface drive to Jaipur (enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri depend on time permitted)

·       Check-in at Hotel, overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 17: Jaipur - Royalty and Heritage

·       A full day of Jaipur sightseeing awaits you - After Breakfast proceed to full day sight seeing tour of Jaipur.

·       Visit the Amber Fort, a magnificent hilltop fortress, and experience an exhilarating elephant ride to the fort entrance.

·       Discover the elegant City Palace, a blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture, and the nearby Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory.

·       Capture the picture-perfect Hawa Mahal, also known as the Palace of Winds.

·       Delight in the flavors of traditional Rajasthani cuisine at a local restaurant.

Day 18: Jaipur to Jodhpur

·       After breakfast, surface drive to Jodhpur, check-in at hotel.

·       Evening visit Clock Tower Market, over night stay at hotel.

Day 19: Jodhpur & to Jaisalmer

·       After Breakfast Check-out from Hotel visit Mehrangarh fort and Jaswant Thada

·       Surface drive to Jaisalmer.

·       Check-in at Hotel, Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 20: Jaisalmer

·       After breakfast, half day walking tour Golden fort and Havelis (Patwa KI Haveli & Salim KI Haveli).

·       Afternoon surface drive to Sam or Kuhri village enjoy the camel ride and sun set from san-dunes

·       After sunset back to Jaisalmer, overnight stay at hotel.

Note: If you are intersted tp sleep under the star in the san-duens that also possible/sleep in village hut.

Day 21: Jaisalmer to Bikaner

·       After breakfast, surface drive to Bikaner, arrive Bikaner visit Junagarh fort and camel farm

·       Check-in at hotel overnight stay at hotel

Note: Optional tour Deshnoke Mata Karni temple (Rat Temple)

Day 22: Bikaner to Delhi

·       After breakfast, surface drive to Delhi check-in at hotel, overnight stay at hotel.

Day 23: Departure to Bhubaneswar

·       After Breakfast transfer to Airport  Connect Flight for Bhubaneswar.

·       Arrive at Bhubaneswar transfer to Jagganath Puri Check-in at Hotel, Overnight stay at Hotel.

Note: If time Permitted enroute visit Dhauli Stupa(Buddhist Peace Pagoda).

Day 24: Jagganath Puri Dham

·       After Breakfast visit for Dharsan at Shri Jagganath Temple.

·       Surface drive to Konark Sun Temple, visit RamaChandi Temple, Chandrabagha beach return to Puri.

·       Overnight Stay at Hotel.

Day 25: Departure to Bangalore/Kochi

·       After Breakfast transfer to Bhubaneswar Airport to Connect your Bangalore/Cochin Flight

·       Arrive at Cochin transfer to Hotel, Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 26: Kochi City Tour

·       Next morning after breakfast, proceed for city tour of Kochi.

·       Visit Fort Kochi, walk to the Church of St Francis, the oldest European-built church in the country.

·       Also see the Mattancherry Palace also known as Dutch Palace, with its fine collection of mural paintings depicting scenes from the Hindu epics.

·       Drive past the amazing Chinese Fishing Nets.

·       Later, drive to Munnar (enroute Lunch).

·       Arrive Munnar and check-in to your hotel.

·       Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 27: Munnar

• After breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Munnar.
• Enjoy visiting sections of Old Munnar, which includes the charming Old Christ Church with its original fourteen rows of wooden pews.
• Also visit the Tea Museum (Tea Museum timings - 1000 hours to 1700 hours).
• Post lunch, visit Mattupetty Lake, which is flanked by steep hills and woods and has been created by the small hydroelectricity dam.
• The rest of the evening is at leisure to enjoy the surrounding beauty or take a stroll in the local market on your own.
• Overnight stay in Munnar.

Day 28: Munnar to Thekkady

• Drive to Thekkady (Periyar) - the land of the spice plantations.
• On arrival, check in to your hotel.
• Post lunch at 2:00 PM, proceed to Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary for a boat ride.
  Note: Please carry a photo-id proof for the Periyar boat ride.
• The evening is at leisure for shopping at the bustling spice market in Kumily village on your own.
• Overnight in Thekkady

Day 29: Thekkady to Alleppey

• Drive to the idyllic backwaters of Alleppey. Alleppey is Kerala's Venice of the East, a heartland of lagoons and mangrove fields, inter-linked with hundreds of narrow winding canals.
• Arrive at Alleppey & check-in to your hotel.
• Enjoy a boat cruise in the evening. Note: The lake is at a walkable distance from the hotel.
• Overnight in Alleppey.

Day 30: Departure to Kochi Airport

Bid farewell to your tour, as you are transferred to Kochi airport for your onward journey.
